Noon is the largest homegrown online marketplace in the Gulf, run out of Dubai and operating separate storefronts for the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The catalogue covers phones, laptops, appliances, groceries, fashion, beauty and furniture, and the platform also runs noon Food for restaurant delivery and noon Minutes for quick convenience orders. The two storefronts run separate pricing, separate stock and separate promotions, so a deal in Dubai does not automatically exist in Riyadh.
Two things on noon behave differently and it pays to know which is which. Express items are held in noon warehouses and ship quickly, often the same day or next day. Marketplace items come from third party sellers, ship on their own timelines, and carry their own return conditions. Most promo codes are written for express items only.
Delivery in the UAE is free once your basket passes 100 AED on express items. Below that a fee applies, and marketplace items are charged per seller based on that seller subtotal. noon also has a paid membership that covers delivery on eligible orders, which changes the maths if you order several times a month.
Returns run to 14 days from delivery on most items, with shorter windows on some categories and no returns at all on things like personal care. Cash on delivery is available, though refunds on cash orders come back as store credit rather than cash, which is worth knowing before you pick that option. Refunds to a card take a few working days to appear depending on your bank.
noon codes are strict about what they apply to, so read before you paste. It also helps to decide on express or marketplace before you start adding things.
Pick your code on qponi and check whether it is for new customers, app orders or express items.
Copy the code.
Build your basket on noon, keeping an eye on which items are express.
Go to the cart and open the box marked for a promo code.
Enter the code and apply it, then check the discount line appears.
Choose delivery and payment, then place the order.
Most failed noon codes fail for the same reason. The basket is full of marketplace items and the code only covers express. The listing tells you which is which, but it is easy to miss when you are comparing prices. Before you blame the code, filter your cart and see what is actually fulfilled by noon. The second thing that catches people is the free delivery line. A basket at 92 AED picks up a fee that wipes out a small percentage discount, so it can be cheaper to add one more express item than to check out where you are. Check the delivery line in the cart before you decide the basket is finished.
Filter for express before you shop
Set the express filter at the top of the results page. It narrows the catalogue to items that ship fast, count toward the free delivery threshold and qualify for most codes. It saves an argument with the promo box later.
Use the first order code
New accounts on noon usually qualify for a first order discount, and it is one of the better deals on the platform. If someone in your household has not shopped there yet, that account is worth using for a big purchase.
Time big buys for White Friday
noon runs its deepest event in November, with Yellow Friday branding in some years. Electronics and appliances move the most in that window. Ramadan and back to school are the next best periods.
Do the membership maths
If you order weekly, the paid membership pays for itself in waived delivery fees. If you order twice a year, it does not. Count your last three months of orders before subscribing.
Check the seller before you buy
On marketplace listings the seller rating and return terms matter more than the price gap. A few dirhams saved is not worth a fight over a return window.
Cash on delivery refunds arrive as store credit, so pay by card if you want cash back.
App only codes are common, so install the app before hunting for a discount.
Save your qponi codes to your notes so you can paste without leaving the cart.
Compare the seller price against the noon express price on the same product.
1. What is the difference between express and marketplace on noon?
Express items sit in noon warehouses and ship quickly. Marketplace items come from independent sellers with their own delivery times and return rules. Most codes apply only to express. The listing page states which one you are looking at, just under the price.
2. How long do I have to return something?
Fourteen days from delivery for most items, with shorter windows on some categories and exclusions on hygiene related products. The listing states the window before you buy.
3. When is delivery free?
On express items in the UAE, once the basket passes 100 AED. Below that a fee applies, and marketplace items are charged per seller.
4. Can I use two codes on one order?
No. noon applies one promo code per order, so pick the one that saves you more rather than trying to stack.
5. Does noon deliver to Saudi Arabia?
Yes. noon runs a separate Saudi storefront with prices in SAR and its own delivery fees and thresholds. Prices, stock and promotions differ between the two storefronts, so compare rather than assume.
