Ubuy Coupons, Promo Codes & Discounts

About Ubuy

Ubuy is a cross-border marketplace. It sources products from the United States, the United Kingdom, China, Japan, Korea and elsewhere, and ships them to customers in markets where those items are not sold locally. The company is headquartered in Kuwait and serves customers across the Gulf and beyond.

The catalogue is enormous because it is aggregated rather than warehoused. Electronics, fashion, toys, health products, tools, car parts and hobby goods. If something is not sold in your country, this is one of the few places to buy it without arranging your own forwarding address.

The trade-off is time and cost. Cross-border orders take longer than a local marketplace and the landed price includes shipping and duties. What you are paying for is access to something you cannot otherwise get, not a better price on something Noon already stocks.

Check the total at checkout rather than the listing price. Cross-border pricing includes shipping and import handling, and a cheap-looking listing can land higher than a local alternative once those are added.

The current Ubuy code gives 5 percent off all products across the GCC.

One thing worth setting expectations on: Ubuy is a sourcing service more than a retailer. Listings are pulled from overseas catalogues, so stock accuracy and delivery estimates are less reliable than on a marketplace holding its own inventory. Order early and treat the delivery date as a range.

How to use a coupon

1. Copy the Ubuy code from this page. It covers the GCC markets.

2. Open Ubuy using our link so the code is attributed to your visit.

3. Add your items to the cart and select your country before checking out, since pricing and shipping change by destination.

4. Enter the code in the promo field at checkout.

5. Check the 5 percent came off the total before you pay.

Tips to save more

• Use it for what you cannot buy locally. Ubuy earns its place on hard-to-find items, not on things Noon or Amazon.ae already stock at a lower landed price.

• Compare the landed total, not the listing price. Shipping and duties are where cross-border orders get expensive, and a 5 percent code does not cover that gap.

• Consolidate into one order. Several small orders each carry their own shipping. One larger order usually lands cheaper even before the code.

• Check the voltage and plug on electronics. A US-sourced appliance runs at 110 volts and will not work on a Gulf supply without a transformer.

• Read the delivery estimate before ordering a gift. Cross-border shipping runs to weeks rather than days, and customs clearance adds an unpredictable few more.

• Returns are harder than on a local marketplace. Sending something back across a border is slow and sometimes not worth the postage, so buy carefully rather than ordering two sizes.

• Search the exact model number, not the product name. Cross-border listings are pulled from overseas catalogues and regional variants of the same product often differ in specification.
